Last weekend, Allen and I tried out the new sushi restaurant, O-ku for Restaurant Week. I had been to the one in Charleston and really liked it, so I knew it would not disappoint. It was delicious! From the cocktails and sake to the dumplings and sushi, everything was a hit.
This light pink sweater is one of my favorite New York purchases. Obviously, I am still loving statement sleeves! It was super cold so I bundled up for our date night.

For Sunday brunch we went to Leroy Fox with the kiddos. It’s always a hit all around. I certainly did not eat healthy, but it was sooooo good!

This past weekend, we went out for a friend’s birthday to Ink N Ivy uptown. We almost never go uptown but it’s always fun when we venture out of our little box. It had a great atmosphere an yummy cocktails, which was great since they don’t take reservations. The meals were really tasty too and the service was terrific.

Saturday we got to enjoy a “Snow Day” at our club. They had a machine that made snow on the golf course and the kids got to go sledding on the golf course. It was freezing but the kids had a blast!

Sunday after church and brunch, we dropped the kids, my aunt and Allen’s mom at the circus. Allen I and I were originally going to go to until we found out that tickets were $130 a piece! So we sent them and then we walked around uptown. Lots of places were closed but we stumbled upon Essex. It was nice and quiet, We had a couple of cocktails while we waited for the circus to let out.
Allen had his usual Dirty Martini with Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives and I had the Essex Margarita which had a delicious kick of jalapeño.
