I’m sure some of you read the title and thought…. oh hell no!! I’m not wearing crop tops, this trend has got to go! When I say “crop top”, I don’t mean to type of crop top that I sported in the mid 90’s that I had picked up at the Merry-Go-Round that showed my WHOLE stomach. I mean cropped that looks great with higher waist skirts. I think they are called “cropped” now because shirts have been so long for a while now and tunics have been the new standard. Below I have paired crop tops and skirts that I would wear together. Some of these could definitely be mixed and matched too.
I love wearing wedges with these outfits or sneakers if I want to be casual. Nowadays sneakers can be worn with just about everything! Back in the day, one of my best friends in high school wore patent leather Vans (from Journeys!) with her prom dress… she was so stylish before anyone thought it was cool to do so!
