What We Wore: Disney 2017

In Disney World and Universal, make no mistake about it, you will do a ton of walking.  Comfortable shoes are a MUST.  It’s also pretty warm year-round.  Shorts and short-sleeves or tanks are perfect.  Knit dresses are also great.  I usually pack one or two light-weight jackets for first thing in the morning or nighttime during fireworks. Packing for Disney can be a bit daunting especially if you have multiple kids and they each want to bring costumes, bathing suits, etc… For the kids I pack each outfit in gallon-size ziplock bags labeled with the child’s name, day and theme park.  That way they can pull out the bag with their clothes and get themselves ready while you get ready for the day.  I have done this every Disney trip and it has been so helpful for mornings that we are rushing out the door for character breakfasts!

These joggers are beyond comfortable- great to wear on the plane.  This was the perfect outfit for travel! I got both the shirt and the joggers at Boem in Charlotte.  The denim jacket is Pilcro from Anthropologie (linked below).
This Free People top is so great, that I got it in 2 colors.  It’s lightweight, knit and has the prettiest embroidery. Both are great with any form of denim- shorts, skirt or jeans.

I love a good baseball tee.  This one is cute and colorful and matched my Star Wars-loving family! Now, normally I wouldn’t be caught dead “matching” my family (not that there is anything wrong with that- just not my thing) … but we weren’t identical so it was ok!
The family who plays together, stays together!

Hollins was so obsessed with this Cinderella jacket that she wore it almost every morning.  It kept her cozy and warm until it warmed up during the day.

It was actually Valentine’s Day while we were in Disney so my pink sandals were a subtle pop of pink for the holiday.

The first part of this particular day we ate breakfast with all of the princesses, rode the new Frozen  and met Anna and Elsa, so Hollins was wearing her Elsa dress of course!  I packed this adorable Gap dress from their new Beauty & the Beast collection for her to change into.
