Pool and beach season has arrived!!! I love the weather and spending time outside with the kids, but I don’t always love putting on a bathing suit. Every year I go on the hunt for the perfect suits and cover-ups. My husband loves me in a bikini {bless his heart!} but I LOVE my one-piece suits!
I have recently discovered Mara Hoffman and I am in love with everything she does… even bikinis! I ordered a couple from Piperlime.

Hands down one of my favorite one-piece bathing suit brands is Bleu Rod Beattie. I discovered them last year and love them! They are very flattering on “mom-bodies.” I have 2 of them similar to this. This one is from Nordstrom.
It’s hard to go wrong with a black one-piece bathing suit!
Trina Turk also can do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to a fabulous one-piece with a fun print. I have one similar to this from her collection last year. This one can also be purchased at Nordstrom.
Now let’s talk cover-ups! Usually pants would be too hot or constricting for the hot summer months in the South. But not these!

Jen’s Pirate Booty has some of the cutest dresses and tunics that work great as cover-ups! They are very boho and very comfortable. Best of all you have two uses for them!
